For Years For Me

You loved

Toasts you made

Many of my family's caskets you carried

Rules you broke

Stories you told

Dishes you washed

Beds you made

Seats you saved

Jokes you told

Smiles you flashed

Hands you shook

Games you played

Hours you danced

Concerts you rocked

Tears you cried

Lips you kissed

Curves you touched

Coins you tossed

Wishes you made

Dogs you slept with

Many miles you drove

Many miles you flew

Burnt meals you ate

All to be with me

Thank you

Sounds like the kind of love that even time would lie down and be still for. =)
