Goodbye

Goodbye

A poem of goodbyes.

Goodbye

Gaze at me with tender eyes

As you spread your acid lies

Watch me as I say goodbye

To the life I left behind

The one you’ll try to hide

For the rest of your

Days alive

Because I honestly tried

It’s easier for me to say goodbye

I have nothing left to hide

For some reason its always hard to say goodbye, even to the people we know we must get away from. If we've been emotionally attached to them, its so painful and hard to leave but once we do, we suddenly realize "What a relief! Glad I'm not with them anymore!" It was like that for me, anyway.

When we've tried our best...its not as hard to say goodbye.
Your words are strong.
