Your Last Breath

Your Last Breath

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A deadly poem.

"

Your Last Breath

On those dark lonely nights

When you close your eyes

To go to sleep

Make sure I’m not there

Lingering like must in the air

If I could slit your throat

And get away with it

I would in a heartbeat

And watch you bleed to death

With a grin

You think you’re the only one

Who can be cold and heartless

But you’re not

So watch your back when

You’re all alone

For I’ll be waiting

When the time is right

To give you

Your last fright

Oh and what a sight

To watch you take

Your Last breath

Before your death

Whoa! Dark and vicious and so very frightening. Gave me shivers reading it. The hate and anger almost leap out of the words! This is fantastic!
