The Damned

Spirits haunted me

Muffled susurrous chilled me

Iced fingers touched me

You gave me goosebumps!
Scary. Scary.

I don't think I would want iced fingers to touch me.

Oh MY! That sent shivers up my spine!

I believe you are being awakened by the dead. Something you fear. I love the word susurrous, it is more alive with sound than its meaning.

Good poem i agree with Doug Orunio

I like what you plan to do here, but since susurrous is an adjective, it doesn't seem right to me. On the other hand, "susurrations" the noun form of the word seems OK. "Muffled susurrations chilled" would work in the context of this poem, and it would get rid of the second "me". Sorry that I'm such a word "nut" Marie.

I can describe it as Spine-tickling, lol, if that makes any sense. Awesome old hag.
