Once We Kiss

Once We Kiss

A Poem by Marie Harrison

A kiss is a lethal weapon sometimes.

Once We Kiss

One simple taste of my heart-shaped face

Will make you wrap me up with lace

And take me home to fill up your space

Being chaste will be a waste

Once we embrace and our lips meet

A kiss can be powerful, for good and bad. I like this one. It's rather romantic and playful too.

your are correct there sometimes all it does take is one kiss.

... and sometimes it takes a helluva lot more than a kiss when it's a relationship that's one is trying to begin, the times we live in and all.

Actually this is a scary concept. That one has so little control over their baser emotions.
