Melt With Me

Melt With Me

Where are

You my love?

My heart skips

Beats for you.

On pointed shoe

I spin my tutu.

I leap in the air

Without a care!

I throw rose petals on the sidewalk

Where we once danced till midnight.

I fly red and yellow kites on the beachside

Where we kissed the night away.

You make my shaky hips

sway to the rock today!

You are the cave I

Crawl to when I’m blue.

Do I renew you

As you renew me?

Do you meet me in

Your dreams love?

Do you melt with me

In the tropical heat?

the imagery is quite beautiful in this poem and the questions being asked can only be answered by on person. Hopefully the narrator in this poem get the answers they seek. It is a nice way to end this poem.

well to be in love is such a surreal feeling

Great job on this Marie...this is really beautiful! I love the simple structure...and this reminds me of easier, simpler, younger days of fast and complete love...w/out all of the silly complications!
