The Sweet And The MeekA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about life's justice.
The Sweet And Meek Only the Greedy survive The selfish seem to be The ones that freely thrive The sweet and meek Are lucky to Be briefly alive Soon their swelled Bodies will surface With the high tide Their mothers Shake their heads And wonder why As they cry They should have Taught them not To walk the straight And narrow line Their sons and daughters Should have lived The seedy and deceptive Lifestyle. © 2010 Marie Harrison
