Drink Of My Cup Today

Take in the fullness of each moment

Inventory my blessings

As I survey the horizons of

Future winding roads that lie ahead

Claiming my place in this world

Making my existence known to all

Breathing in deep gasps

Of fresh chilled air

Releasing my cares to the world

As it slumbers in the thick

Of God’s soft warm hare blanket

Lovely. While reading of this I felt as if I was sitting on my porch back up north, just after a fresh snowstorm with a hot cup of coffee...thinking how beautiful the world looks coated in a thick blanket of downy white.
