Wedding Ring

Why did you take my wedding ring?  Did taking it give you a zing? Did hurting me give you a double ring in your b b thing? Did the carats make your heart sing?

 

Did you think your new lady would like my ring?  Wouldn’t it sting her to know whose thing that was first darling? 

 

That hurt more than anything.  Why did you take my ring?

I have never heard of a man being so cruel that he took the engagement ring or wedding band to give to the new woman. this states the obvious in emotions. Wow now that is lower than low.

So true...wouldn't she feel ashamed to know that she was wearing someone else's ring. That'd be a deal breaker for me for sure!

I like the structure of this...It rhymes but it's not in the traditional form which mixes it up a bit. Very good!

Oy - some people will do whatever they can to hurt - you're better off without him or the ring..
The hurt really comes out in this.
