The Color Of A Man's Character

The Color of a Man’s Character

We all bleed

And cleave to

Those we leave

We all smile when we are greeted

And cry when we are mistreated

Why do we choose to abuse others

For the color of their skin?

Why do we think that only

Our own color should win?

We’re all the same underneath

We all deserve peace

When we lay down to sleep

Love one another while you can

Show your son how to be gracious

The color of a man’s character

Is how he treats his fellow Man.

Well written.

Can I get an amen... I don't understand anyone who judges people by color race or religion instead of what in their heart and soul. Ignorance remains in full bloom.

voila! sooth in a man's boots, he walks in his own disaster, wondering who made such a mess... silly men of everchanging season, he does not remember who he was or has become, but all around, there is it , the product of man and how he has treated his brothers

Very nicely said Marie

I've no time to sort out people by color...i just hate them all equal, so everyone starts on a level playing field ;)
