Turning Away From EmptinessA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem of change.
Turning Away From Emptiness I thought I really knew you! You weren’t a sweet and noble man He was my fantasy, Someone I thought I saw in you. Mostly you were wasted space, an empty trash can Money and emptiness weren't enough for me, Needed someone that could be genuine and true Release you to seeking company, roaming the lands Time my heart finally set you free Hope you find happiness and a warm hand Someone new to serve you a steaming hot cup of tea On my own now doing my best without a husband Most days I’m as happy as can be © 2010 Marie HarrisonAuthor's Note
