Turning Away From Emptiness

I thought I really knew you!

You weren’t a sweet and noble man

He was my fantasy,

Someone I thought I saw in you.

Mostly you were wasted space, an empty trash can

Money and emptiness weren't enough for me,

Needed someone that could be genuine and true

Release you to seeking company, roaming the lands

Time my heart finally set you free

Hope you find happiness and a warm hand

Someone new to serve you a steaming hot cup of tea

On my own now doing my best without a husband

Most days I’m as happy as can be

Great work as always. I could really feel your feelings of betrayal and disappointment in this one. Nice job

Letting go..Always a tough decision to make, but the rewards are countless eventually.
