Blue sky hangs above;

Canorous jays sing to me,

Today my heart swells.

staring at the bluejays outside the window...as our
teacher went over the time tables.

This was a delightful read. For starts I do like this topic "Beautiful Day" I think that it's not written about enough. So great choice.
I love how you get the message across but simply. You didn't go on about the blue sky, or the birds.... Just kept it simple! I'm curious what the form for this is called? Haiku? I'm not sure...

Of course the picture is blue jays (today being exactly 6 months since I was "sent" one). And of course the person below is singing the song I had taught one of the parrots my mother had when I was a teen. Excuse me while I sigh.
