The Poison of the Widow Spider

The yearning need to be wrapped in her web

His desire for her is overwhelming, it never ebbs

He takes her, so she’ll have future eggs

Then she kisses him right before she eats his head

the death dance of love beautifully captured by the visceral nature of spiders! perhaps this death dance is relevant and occurring in all beings in nature. beautifully written!

Now that's a woman--venomous, seductive, and 5 times the size of her lover.
