Summer Day

Walking down the dusty country road

Skipping rocks over the creek

Running through the pasture chasing cows

Taking a long dip in a cool lake on a hot summer day

Catching a horny toad to bring home to Mom

Whistling my way down the long dusty road

Free to do whatever I please along the way

What a great way to spend a summer day

Yeah...like chillin' at the park writing poetry, smoking a stoge, and drinking a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks. I am so missing summer, and this poem is not helping. Great work again, though.

An innocent yet powerful expression of freedom...this is all we seek at some point of time in our life!!
