It’s Your Love

Your love is

Like an elephant’s

Trunk that

Wraps around me

And carries me

To higher places

 

Your love is

Like a machine

Gun that

Sprays me

In every direction.

 

Your love is

Like a bottomless

Cup of coffee

It keeps

Pouring and pouring.

 

It’s your love

That gives me synergy.

Ah the sweet death of love with the prick of the black rose. "Love is like a rose, watch out for all the pricks" :) I like this write, but what else is new I love all your writing and when your published I want the first signed copy :D. This poem really does a great job of using very different ways to describe that almost "indescribable" emotion we humans call love! But I enjoyed reading this, and especially the line "Like a machine gun that sprays me in every direction"....great imagery!
