It’s Your Love

Your love is

Like an elephant’s

Trunk that

Wraps around me

And carries me

To higher places

 

Your love is

Like a machine

Gun that

Sprays me

In every direction.

 

Your love is

Like a bottomless

Cup of coffee

It keeps

Pouring and pouring.

 

It’s your love

That gives me synergy.

This is really great! I like especially how your last word almost describes the method you've created in writing this poem: synergy. You took too things in all your stanzas and put them together to mean something so much more! When you say machine gun I think of something bad, but you put it together with love, and alter the meaning to something better. Good job!!
