Carry Me Away

Carry Me Away

A poem of elation.

Carry Me Away

Banging of the drums,

The cry of the electric guitar,

Breathes life into my fire tonight.

These electric currents seize through

My body constantly.

I get lost in the music,

Lost in your eyes,

As you make my hips rise.

The dance of romance... It can be a heady thing, and intoxicating as well. The rhythm of love is something many of us try to replicate, and never quite do, in our works. Nice.

Yet more passion ..the Cafe is full of elation and excitement .. it's playing its own music and everyone's dancing.

Those last three lines say it all!
