Wedding Bouquet

Floral bouquet dreams;

Women push and shove to catch,

Lucky foliage.

Who hasn't seen the fight for the wedding bouquet. It can be brutal. All for this wedding custom.

At my cousni's wedding the bouquet bounced off my other cousin's head and landed at my feet. Everyone said to pick it up. I just looked at it, at my cousin who got hit in the head, we both turned and walked back to our table. Don't know what happened after that. LOL. Great senryu.

I love this, I can just see a bunch of women trying to catch that bouquet. Do they really all really want to get married? Perhaps they just can't resist the challenge.

It's sad. You seem to be the woman who takes sarcastic notes on the event,
who vows to make her own luck.

Fight for the Bonquet? Not me, I never did, I kind of annoyed by poeple fighting just for this kind of things.
Nice Poem!

So, was this supposed to be a senyru? Because it was so, so close. :)
Either way, very nicely done. That tradition is the weirdest one (in America at least) that I have witnessed... I don't think I'll ever understand it. Or the passion that woman put in it.

Anywho- nice job. c:
