A poem about desire.

Wedding Bouquet

Floral bouquet dreams;

Women push and shove to catch,

Lucky foliage.

Who hasn't seen the fight for the wedding bouquet. It can be brutal. All for this wedding custom.

At my cousni's wedding the bouquet bounced off my other cousin's head and landed at my feet. Everyone said to pick it up. I just looked at it, at my cousin who got hit in the head, we both turned and walked back to our table. Don't know what happened after that. LOL. Great senryu.

It probably can. I've been in a wedding, but that didn't happen. I thought this poem was really good. I agree with your author's note to. Thanks for sharing. :)

"Lucky foliage" lol. You just made the poem abstract and satrical. I think it's great. I've favourited it.

lol; i remember this at my wedding
two of my closest single friends fought over catching it
i had to throw it twice
the one that caught it for the second time was the next to get married
but now i'm not friends with either of them
