FRIENDSHIPA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about friendship.
Friendship Finding common grounds in the mind of another Reaching out to touch the heart and mind of a fellow soul Inviting one in for a steming cup of tea and conversation Elation found in laughter and excitement of sharing Needing a warm hand of comfort to hold to not feel so abandoned and alone Deviating from yourself for the sake of another Secrets swapped that are too sacred to share with outsiders Happiness seen and felt in the smiles and hugs of another Interest in hearing the opinions and humor as soon as possible Power to draw us closer to our humanity.
