Pumpkin Corn Man

Pumpkin Corn Man

A poem about a monster roaming throughout the heartland.

Pumpkin Corn Man

Out of the dark shadows of

crusted bloody gore

an evil force was born

Back when there was war.

He has the

Face of a pumpkin,

But his stooped body

is crooked and short,

his teeth are yellow

and brown pieces

Of dried Indian corn.

His eyes glow of

Bright green emeralds,

But his nose is a

Butting bugle horn.

He lives out in the

Miller’s shed and

His clothes

Are all covered

With soot

And torn.

He roams free

Across the Flat midlands

Until the early morn.

Pulling the hairy

Legs of coyotes and wild

Boars until their limbs

 Are blood crusted and torn.

Beware of the

Prankster evil ways of the

jeering Pumpkin Corn Man,

He’ll crack your

Skull as fast as he can,

Leaving you a scorned

And broken man.

Haha, not what I was expecting... I was expecting something like little kids carving pumkpins with leaves falling around them...

Surprises are always nice.

The great premise to a scary movie... actually these would make for great lyric to a fun metal song for some like Iron maiden... either way very enjoyable.

oh pumpkin corn man... I thought it was the pumpkin candy corn man (which by the way is infinitely more scary, as candy corn is a zero sum candy - for every piece eaten one is made, and it never goes away!!!)

I couldnt even get halfway through this poem before it hit me
like a ton of bricks. I have a friend who is terrified of pumpkinhead.
It was an awesome character.
