Pumpkin Corn ManA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about a monster roaming throughout the heartland.
Pumpkin Corn Man Out of the dark shadows of crusted bloody gore an evil force was born Back when there was war. He has the Face of a pumpkin, But his stooped body is crooked and short, his teeth are yellow and brown pieces Of dried Indian corn. His eyes glow of Bright green emeralds, But his nose is a Butting bugle horn. He lives out in the Miller’s shed and His clothes Are all covered With soot And torn. He roams free Across the Flat midlands Until the early morn. Pulling the hairy Legs of coyotes and wild Boars until their limbs Are blood crusted and torn. Beware of the Prankster evil ways of the jeering Pumpkin Corn Man, He’ll crack your Skull as fast as he can, Leaving you a scorned And broken man.
