Your Grip Is EternalA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about fear dominating another.Your Grip Is Eternal How your strong cracked hands Have a choking stronghold on me, Gripping me so tight by the neck, Strangling me so I can hardly see. Your sharp teeth gnash and Shred my skin Until it bleeds. The pure taste of me Makes your hunger Grow stronger For more. My nocturnal Thoughts of you Had me tossing Around restlessly In my bed sheets For weeks. Your evil hand's power of control over my Soul makes me Cower meekly in the corner Of my closet, Crouching down on my bare feet. My fear of you Causes me to tremble and sob Whenever your Deep thunderous voice speaks. Only when you die, Will I find true relief. Yet even then, I’ll wonder about your possessed Ghost haunting me in my sleep or as I think, While I grieve. My trembling fear for you is eternal, Even in death or peace, You shall never leave me be. © 2010 Marie HarrisonReviews
