Becoming Me

A poem about finding yourself.

Becoming Me

 

 

My body is tired,

open is the position my

eyes can hardly keep.

 

My heart is full,

rich with happiness,

nothing to make

me want to weep.

 

As I process

my communications

and let them all seep,

like my hot cup of

earl grey tea.

 

I realise that

I'm opening up

like a bud of a rose,

I'm finally

becoming me.

Just were I'm at right now. It's an exciting place to be.

I really like this. I too am in the same place as this. A lot of things have happened to me in my young life and I have always still been a bit immature for my age. But, now I am blossoming like a rose in spring and finally think I am on my way to becoming the woman I am suppose to be. Wonderful writing. :)
