White Fangs

White Fangs

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A poem about an evil character.

"

White Fangs

I’m hungry for her

Flesh and her bones

I want to drag

Her red robe to

My cave, to

My danger zone.

She carries goodies

For her granny in

Her wicker basket,

I’ll take her fanny

Back home

With me

Where I’m free

To do to her

Whatever I wish!

I’m not very funny,

But I am rather cunning.

I’m black and furry,

And actually rather dirty,

And I’m out to fool

Little Red Ridinghood

Because I’m the

Big Bad Wolf!

Very unique take on a classic for sure...the red font helps with the feel of the piece. Has a sexual undertone to it in my mind. Nice job.

The rhythm seems too broken up to me.. I can't really get into the piece. It's nice though.

Oh my, there's another slant on Red Riding Hood .. and written in blood dripping red. What a bad wolf!

Imaginative to say the least.
