Summer Road TripA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about summer road trips.Summer Road Trip
Always when it's hot and for a summer road trip.
My squealing tires hit the pavement,
Each night as I stop at Denny's or at
Pulling over to pay a toll
Sometimes while you're on your summer road trip, with your shotgun partner because they give you too much lip.
After being cooped up for too long
Then my boyfriend and I pull over to get skinny jeans can unzip.
Staying home is comfy and fun, life up a bit!
