Sunshine,

how you grace this life of mine.

 

Crowning my head

like a shiny bonnet.

 

Making me smile,

for miles ahead.

 

Bringing flowers bursting with color to my door.

Giving me strength to indure more in this evil world.

 

Sunshine,

you share your kindness with me everyday.

You make me want to stay in this world one more day.

 

Only with you will I lay in the green grass with a sense of peace

and enjoy the outdoor music for the mass.

 

May my love come to me

while your rays shower over me from above.
