With lantern poems, the last line is supposed to be a word that is a synonym for the first word is it not? I don't see how Off is a synonym for boats. It just doesn't fit. Sure it's an an action you can have by getting off a boat but it's not similar to a boat. I liked the lines in between though, simple and expressive.

I always wish I could be on one of those boats for a unlimited journey. You said it all in so few words. A very good poem.
