My Heart

My Heart

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A love poem from the heart.

"

My Heart

My heart has no excuse to lie

It's not shy

It doesn't feel the need to hide

It's hug is wide

and it's smile is deep

It's here till eternity for you to keep

It seeps blood when fatally wounded

and weeps from time to time

but it has no secrets to keep from you.

My heart loves you

even when you're feeling blue

Even when it's too soon

for you to say you're sorry to me

My heart will always hold an abundance

of love especially for you.

For you see I'm in love with you

and my heart knows

because it told me so.

I love you.

a smooth and insightful expression of all the proverbial, mechanical and electric capabilities of the longing & loving heart.
