Building ObsessedA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about a man obsessed with buildings!
BUILDING OBSESSED How your hand caressed a building, like it was your shapely lover. How wet tears in your eyes collected and dropped like raindrops at the demise of the Twin Towers, not for the people inside but for the noble structures themselves. When we looked at your developed pictures together almost all of them would be of buildings, hardly any had people in them at all. Morning, noon and night that's all you had on your mind and in your sight was buildings. You were obsessed!
