he comes to me in dreams

he comes to me in dreams

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

a dream poem

"

he comes to me in dreams

warm and lovingly

he comes to me in dreams

smiling and twirling me around and around

out of breath we both spill to the ground

endless hours of play and fun

he comes to me in dreams

twirling me round and round

when the day starts

we must part

for he comes to me in dreams

smiling and running with me through

the yellow buttercup fields of my youth

This poem is about a reocurring dream that I often have about my grandfather. He's always spinning me in a yellow field of buttercups.

the yellow buttercup fields of my youth..and wasn't that last line just perfect :)..a lovely poem...as bright as the golden sunshine..and you did not waste words...the words and length are just apt.
