My VoiceA Poem by Marie Harrisonfree-verse poemMy Voice
My sharp, piercing voice of a raven will slam your face against a wall, to awaken you from your drunken stupor.
Like an ocean, my voice will reach far away continents, to the destiny of many ears.
My message is as razor sharp as a cleaver. I long to tell the world of a vile man who raped me of my virginity, an evil man that took something that wasn't his, my peace of mind, my sanity.
I want to see him locked up forever, for what he did to me.
I long to see his manhood taken violently from him, like he took my voice from me.
I want the world to hear my pain and agony from that day long ago. © 2010 Marie HarrisonReviews
