My Voice

My Voice

My Voice

My sharp, piercing voice of a raven

will slam your face against a wall,

to awaken you from your drunken stupor.

Like an ocean,

my voice will reach far away continents,

to the destiny of many ears.

My message is as razor sharp as a cleaver.

I long to tell the world of a vile

man who raped me of my virginity,

an evil man that took something that wasn't his,

my peace of mind,

my sanity.

I want to see him locked up forever,

for what he did to me.

I long to see his manhood

taken violently from him,

like he took my voice from me.

I want the world to hear my pain

and agony from that day long ago.

Not sure I know how to put the power I felt from this into words.

Bold and direct! The powerful emotions behind such a piece certainly explode outward and touch the readers. Strong Ink!

Hugs!

You've described the pain well and we can hear your cry of anger loud and clear. As Craig said, powerful.

This has such a stunning power.. You have given voice to pain and your story, and in these words there is a freedom..
