French Twist

Hearing lovers kiss and talk,

as the gentle night wind of spring blows by.

Drinking coffee and writing poetry tastes tepid

compared to what they have on their plate.

 

If only we could switch positions,

they could drink French roast

from a french press ,

and I’ll french kiss a hot guy

and talk his ear off.

Nicely written poem. I noticed that if you put some extra spacbetween Lovers and Kiss and a bit more space between the title and poem. your poem might look a bit like a heart.
