French Twist

Hearing lovers kiss and talk,

as the gentle night wind of spring blows by.

Drinking coffee and writing poetry tastes tepid

compared to what they have on their plate.

If only we could switch positions,

they could drink French roast

from a french press ,

and I’ll french kiss a hot guy

and talk his ear off.

I love the last stanza of this poem. I would switch places as well. I really enjoyed reading this poem.

This made me smile :) Very cute! I'd probably take the hot guy as well :D Writing seems rather bland all of a sudden.
