This is to the ones who ought

To have stayed, but instead forgot

All, not just the very thought

of me

Lonelier still, am I

This is to the ones who do

Continue to stay, but never knew

The thoughts that continue running through

me

Lonelier still, am I

This is to the ones who know

'Tis a blessing, truly, but no

They're never around, and so, woe

is me

Lonelier still, am I

This is to the ones not in the past,

Nor present, but future nearing fast,

but not fast enough for those, alas

I'm me
