Symphony for the dead

Symphony for the dead

A Poem by ashley
"

Just expressing how I've felt~ I still want to edit it a bit more, trying to get the song like flow perfect

"

Death you make my heart play a sad, sad song.

No majors or sharps,

just a low bass moan.

Death you make my heart sink deep into the dark.

No seeing or hearing,

just the burst of my heart I feel

Death, you make my words sing a sad, sad song.

Then I think about your smile and the rhythym picks back up.

I tap my feet and clap my hands

and the aria begins again.

I think about your love and the senses come back to me

even though you cannot

I feel your life inside of me

Death you may play the blues.

But you, you sing to my heart the sweetest, sweetest song.

For some reason I am reminded of Ralph Stanley's song, "O Death", probably due to the powerful repetition you are using here to great effect. I love the heartbeat to music theme!
