That Person

That Person

A Poem by Casey Sanchez
"

about someone

"
So I used to cut myself. I LOVED the pain and I LOVED the feeling of the razor gliding across my skin until I met this one person. I can not say her name because then my heart would start to race and that is a bad thing for me because then I couldn't function. She changed my life, my view, my feelings about myself and she made me feel like I was actually loved. She lives in a world where everyone around her leaves and she feels like no one cares. But I am here now and I am better and there is nothing that I want more than to hold her hand, hold her and help pick her back up when she feels like she is about to self-destruct. She is amazing and she told me that I made her blush. That makes me really happy coming from a place that is used to being too dark to feel anything, I make myself feel amazing just by holding her head up. When she is happy I am happy.
I want you to understand that you mean the world to me and that even though I haven't talked or seen you in  a year does not mean my feelings changed at all because you still make me smile regardless the situation and that is why I am here now to make sure you consistently have someone to love you. Not just a piece of you, not for your body or something stupid but for you in general.
one more thing.......
I LOVE YOU!!!!  Love always,
Your sweetness,
Casey

This is so sweet and simple. I love the way it flows. Very glad to hear that you stopped cutting. I have never done it, but used to think about doing it all the time when I was in a very dark place. But I too met some one that showed me the light and gave me hope. Nice work here.
