i want a pair of the yellow keds, like the ones in springtime.

i need those shoes,'

 sure pat i will budge just this time, but

i need first months notice on your grades and spoiled garbage under your bed.

is there anything else bothering you?

'mama',

 yes ? 

i need something else...

what dear' i need a reason in class to learn how to love myself.

mom' what is self?

self is a simple form of inner most manner and characteristic. 

it is what you feel the most.

mama' what if i don't love myself? will i go to a bad place, like the scary places bentely talks about?

he makes me cry, is that love?

'yes and no.'

honey, love is NOT only a supplemental birth right; but a need. 

, but a need to be heard,is fundamentally learning to love, being loved and loving.

'love is complicated baby, don't know how else to say this but, do you by any chance know what lies inside of you?

a place of peace

and gifts, child, bearing of richness and worth.

i need to tell you something pat, i won't be here forever. 

i need to let you know i will always be with you, no matter the circumstance.

a beautiful discovery of your future, child' 'lies within you.'

mama i need to tell you, thanks. and I LOVE YOU.

all in gods graces child, have some heart. 

child never forget your inheritance to the world. and what it has to say about self worth or silly thoughts anyhow.

'yes mama, have a good spirit, don't be afraid and

angel hear me, never for one second forget WHO YOU ARE.

how about we go to heaven someday and tell that man himself what he really thinks about LOVE.

mama, grace is what we say when we show love right ?

It's been a long while I came across such poems, I generally focus on serious particulars but I think this is equally important. I like your spoken style, such structure is often difficult to maintain till the end. Yes this poem is successful in reflecting positive side. I like this poem and as for a suggestion I'd suggest to focus on word choice, diverse words makes a piece really wonderful and interesting.
