I did this as an assignment in my english class

I have dealt out many afflictions. I have appeased and provoked. I have done many wonderful and inconcievable things. I have witnessed abhors, seen abominable men make contrivances against the constitutuions of their fellow men. I have induced others to spread my word

I have used figures of speech that the natural man misunderstood. I was bewitching and when people entreated me for things they did not need, I found it tedious and lamentable.

During war, there were plunderings. And during good years, I gave them savory things to eat. It was all ascribed from me, and still they were mostly ungrateful. Only feeling melancholy and being humble when it was in their favor.

I gave them bread and water, and bid them come. I helped when they needed it, and punished when not. I gave them life, and I took it away. Who am I? I am the allmighty and powerful. I am the omnipotent. I am God.
