but how?

but how?

A Story by cheyenne s garcia

If you and me, could see the world.

If the Pacific Ocean is the largest body of water in the world, then we are actually so small. And compared to the amount of people that populate the earth, of how many out there believe we are the only ones like us.

I want to travel to the moon just so I could see the Earth from the sky and down upon the masses; we will collect rocks and keep them in our pockets, forgetting they were in our pockets we would forget about the whole thing and just suppose we find something else to be fascinated about.
What?
yeah, something else.
Just like the time we found, moon rocks in our pockets and dreamt of something bigger than us.
Because those moon rocks are something to be excited about and I will not remember. but we will forget and the moon has so many places to look for things 'we love to love' and when it is all over we will go home and you will close your eyes and I will never forget.

Cause between you and me we scored even. and for what it is worth I bet we can do anything we want to.
Like what?
I don't know.
Moon rocks are in our pockets. We could crash our car into the bridge and sleep under those rocks tonight if we wanted.

Just like the time, before, when those guys somewhere someway found out there was life on Mars and retrograding behind every strong story it folds and bends into exactly how I want to manage it.

Behind every great story there is a mysterious writer penning his journal of things to dream about.
I dream every night.
and every night the same dream.

Me too dear Cheyenne. I am ready for a vacation to Mars or farther away. I liked the logic of your thoughts. In set-up dreams. We can escape. Hello dear poet and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Liked the enthusiasm in this one. It's quite a relief from the flood of dejection and bitterness so often seen in offerings on this site. That enthusiasm stands out especially in the last paragraph. Hold on to it. It's a precious thing.

That said, I found several grammatical errors that detracted from the overall positive direction of the story. You might do well to have a proofreader go over this one.

It's so wonderful to dream about doing great things I think many of us do it at one time or another.. In this piece you and your partner dream BIG and that's what makes life fun. Your idea of crashing moon rocks into
cars is a bit extreme, but that's what I mean about dreaming about larger than life ideas .
Very imaginative.
Best, B

"I dream every night.
and every night the same dream." --- What a great ending for this fanciful/whimsical read. --- Thanks!
