Seems to be a recollection of a childhood incident. Apparently something frightened the speaker badly, to the point where there was a need to go back home. Someone is told the speaker can't come out again tomorrow. The second stanza breaks away abruptly and deals with the speaker's mother, who was told lies but never said anything. Can't do much interpretation here. If something is being related, I can't tell what it is.

This is a lovely poem, about how birds can uplift the spirits. The unknown is why you had to leave such a peaceful place, something that brought you joy. Birds do have a way of soothing one's mind.
Very nice.
Best, B,
PS. please don't send too many requests, It will be hard to read all, thank you for your understanding.
I liked this poem. I wanted to know more and read more. Would be a great lead for a epic story. I liked the places, the hard thoughts and the feel of honesty in the words. You allowed the reader to feel the struggle. Thank you dear Cheyenne for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
