Whoever it is who's got your love; well, he's lucky. This is a cool poem. I love the flow of it--like gentle rain drops kissing the back of my neck in a gentle shower with a rainbow overhead. :)
Ahhh that great love, what would the world be like without love. It kinda makes you think...What would happen if there was no love? Anyways, the poem is cute, simple and beautiful, altough Im not really into love poems that much. In my experience, love was just another knife that stabs me in my back, love always makes me suffer, love makes me happy just for a short time.
Poetry can serve two purposes: it can be an emotional outlet as well as a creative outlet. I can see the emotion behind a lot of your pieces, but I am going to leave feedback on this one in particular, although it will be able to extend to all of your work.
The creativity can stand on it's own, but emotion without creative imagery behind it can sometimes fall flat. There are numerous instances of "love" hinted at throughout this piece: kisses on a summer day, hugging in the pouring rain, feeling higher than the sky, etc. You know in the back of your head you want to SHOW what it feels to be in love, your writing tells me that, and you are close.
What do I mean by this? Don't TELL me love is amazing or makes you happy or can hurt, but show me with your words. Show me how you respond to those kisses and hugs. Show me what caused your heart to be crushed. Does this make sense?
If you ever take a creative writing course, something I genuinely recommend to anyone with even a fleeting interest in poetry, then this advice will give you a huge leg up on your peers.
Lovely Queen of Sin... very tender and beautiful and you capture different aspects of what love is with the pictures you paint :) Keep up the good work :)
