Horse TeethA Poem by Cheyanna
Horse teeth,
I'm sorry that I was taught to hate you That I hid you when I smiled I'm sorry I tried to shave you down As if you weren't the shape you were supposed to be I'm sorry that I criticize you Every time I look into a mirror Horse teeth, I never should have been ashamed In the first place You are what radiates in my smile Big yet beautiful I've had to learn to love you As I cannot change you You were meant to be this way Not uniform, not perfection I praise you In all of your glory That you shall never be hidden Or undermined by those who see any different
