To Be In Motion

To Be In Motion

A Poem by Patrick McCombs

My hands are shaking
There is no mistaking
That I am lost in the dark
I somehow ended up at this park
The swing set looks vaguely inviting
And there is no use in fighting
My ever present notion to be in motion once more
For to be still is to be at war

Yep. I knew I would like your style. The rhymes are simple but yet the poem still comes across as complex. This is good stuff. I like the way your writing comes out neatly.
