![]() Always in Our SanctuaryA Poem by pearl![]() They meet in between.![]() Sometimes, he’s an electric blue-eyed
eagle with a searing stare and a laid-back stance A gentle and gracious flamingo would
shed feathers and change in a glance Rising from the ground, a savage,
flaring phoenix appears They ascend and swirl the sky,
embodying the gods’ greatest fears More often than not, he’s the gallant,
vigorous archer Running from the humid forest
while stretching his course, oak wood bow to tigers with eagerness Until he hears the murmuring waves,
he slows down and goes to the sea He rests with the fish, embracing
her cool tranquility Rarely, she’s the radiant bumblebee,
fluttering in the fragrant yard Even on a rainy day, she spreads
grains of joy with regard Seeing the pale, withering wildflower,
she showers him with fulfillment They stay awake as the warm
daylight comes, surrounded in the sweet-scented element He’s the diver, who went to the
depths of the clear, salty ocean The most lustrous and elegant
pearl was obtained because of devotion He’s satisfied so he keeps her
and caresses her fair face, Reminds her that she’ll be safe here
with him always © 2020 pearlAuthor's Note
