Daylight Fades into The Darkness of Hell

Daylight Fades into The Darkness of Hell

A Poem by OverTheHorizon

the daylight fades to darkness

the shadows of hell rise in of our belovied world

to whom may never know

where the spoken words

of the underworlds continue

noone shall ever question if this world truly exists

though i stand

in the center of the

light and darkness beholders

and question

is there life to this

unforsaken domain?

for i only seek the death that lives

within our spirits

there is no light to this world

there is no hope for our nation

there is nothing of this narrow minded

abservation

though the seeming contradiction arises in our hearts

once more

this poem lives. I thought it is quite scarry realistic. I had to think about the Burroughs poem, here a part of it:

The host with someone indistinct
Converses at the door apart,
The nightingales are singing near
The Convent of the Sacred Heart,

And sang within the bloody wood
When Agamemnon cried aloud,
And let their liquid siftings fall
To stain the stiff dishonoured shroud.

I hope you liked.
