The mad pursuit of nothingness

The mad pursuit of nothingness

A Poem by OverTheHorizon

the mad pursuit of nothingness evolves beneith your soul

the blank stares back into nothing but a big black hole

the eckos of your heart vibrating off the wall

yelling for help but no one

is there to catch you if you fall

struggling for your life back

and grasping for air

reach your hand to the horizon

but i doubt if anyone is there

run jump spin or fly

but the weight of life on your shoulder

will just make you cry

needing someone there

to gaze into your eyes

whispering sweet nothings

just to tell you its alright

all alone in a world one can not control

trying to keep your world from falling out of your hold

take life in one hand

and your feelings in the other

so much stress in my world

no one can help so dont even bother

out of despression and

into a world of s**t

watching as people pass

taking their life so bliss

gone forever in the distance of time

even if i kill myself

is it really considered a crime?
