Reaching Out

Reaching out. Humans have a strong desire to reach. Even when we are small babies, we reach. Over time, we reached for bigger things. We slowly started to reach for countries. Over time, humans started to reach further and wanted to go to space. Even now, humans continue to reach. We reach for mars. We reach for extraterrestrial life. We reach for cures. We reach for things to heal the world. Over time, the world has reached for bigger and better things. Humans realized over time that bigger things are needed as time goes on. Humans realize that time hurts the world, and we are the only ones who can turn it around. We realized that there are only a few ways to heal the world. We realized we must reach farther than before. We realized we must reach for the world, clutch it in our arms all at once and never let go.

We realized that to save the world we must come together. We must forget differences. Whether we are smart or not, people of colour or not, lgbtq+ or not, republican or democrat. We must all look past the things on the outside and the way we feel about love or how we think. We must all, collectively, clutch the earth in our arms and never let go because it is the only one we have. We must reach for each other and help one another during times of need. We must teach each other to grow strong and fight for the earth's safety. We must look to one another and see hope so we know our world will be safe when we leave it for later generations.

Reaching for our earth and each other is the only way we can save it. Humans have reached for so long. We have reached for land for so long. humans have that urge to reach for land, but what happens when there is no more? We need to achieve our desire to reach somehow. We have almost reached for all land on earth, so what is next? Space? Space is the thing we have for so long reached for, but is it the thing we need? We need to reach for cures. We need to reach for help.

Our desire to reach, although it has been devastating in the past, will be the thing that helps the earth in the end. The main way we will achieve earth's greatness is by reaching out to it and clutching it in our arms for eternity and teaching our children to do the same. What we must do is reach. not reach for the stars, for they will not let us achieve our dreams. Reach for our home, earth. Reach for the thing that has kept us grounded for our entire lives, for it is the place we will live forever. We must together reach for greatness, and our greatness will be found within if we come together and reach for the world, reach for each other, and reach for yourself. Reaching out will be the thing that will save us all. Reaching out is the thing that keeps us together. Reaching out, we must use it to save one another. Reaching out.
