Ghosts of the past -Forgotten-A Poem by Risk n' Wonderingthe dark gets tired and heavy sinks in like an end to the past
Forgotten
Once the dark gets tired.. The eye see's the heat to an end. Excuses for a past held on to. Forgiven but not resolved, feelings created by past actions subside before a new light within the dark discovered. Changed action becoming normal, Leaving damage beneath a thick surface. Better at hiding over time within the pain. Slipping farther to unreachable depth contained, in such a small space from the outside looking in, Driven by a need for a mutual perspective, once the dark gets tired a heavy sinks in like an end to the past held too close... Still grasping fallacies so far from reach hoping with every blink confusion fades. Gone for good with no control, stuck in between the pieces in time. Feeling a loss of self, stolen from you while it stares you in the face. --Fade to black
