Weekends

Weekends

A Poem by Song in the Farmland
"

What my life is like. I'm more compatible with guys then girls... and on weekends we're always hangingout...but at school...it's totally different. I'm invisible, and I'm sick and tired of it.

"

After school,

On the weekends,

We hangout

Play dodge ball,

Basketball,

Soccer,

And all the such

Laughing past the sunset until the morning dusk

You guys point at the girls who think they’re so cool,

Ogling all of you like there’s something that will be happening soon

Giving me dagger glares as if to say that I should back off

We laugh and joke, saying how those girls are stupid and petty b*****s

They’re jealous of me

Because I’m the one who gets close to you

The one able to poke and push and goof off with you

But that’s after school

At school you ignore me and go on by

Waving at those ‘stupid petty b*****s’ with that dumb a*s smile on your face

You’re all so unreal

Fake

Why, is it then I still can’t pull myself away, from you?

How come guys can be so complicated?

Why do they have to be such pigs?

One minute you’re having fun with them

Then the next moment they’re looking the other way,

At her, them, those girls who think they’re so cool

Well all I have to say now is that there’s no way

No way, I should give you my time of day

Today

Any day

Anyway

Anyhow

Anywhere

But why is it that I still yearn for the weekends,

That will come none too soon?
